Pregnant Pause, a one-woman play

performed by Amie Cazel

written by Kathleen Jones

directed by Maureen Monterubio

Friday, October 28, 8:00pm at CityLife, 125 1st St. Jersey City

After an extended run at New York's United Solo Theatre Festival 2016, Pregnant Pause comes to Jersey City!

This play frankly discusses abortion. 45-minute running time followed by a brief Q&A.

Although Essie has mixed feelings about being pregnant — she’s a successful New York actress with a happy marriage — she warms to the idea, until she learns the baby has a genetic disorder. Haunted by her past, Essie examines her life’s work, worth, and the future of her family. Written by United Solo's 2012 Best Short Solo winner Kathleen Jones.

FREE. Suggested Donation $10. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the fundraising campaigns of Jared Cazel and Orion Jones who are running the NYC Marathon with Team Boomer. The Boomer Esiason Foundation supports research and treatment for Cystic Fibrosis.
